Martin Van Buren

I was grateful to be Andrew Jackson’s trusted advisor and I will truly miss him. I supported everything he done and carried some of his ideals when I became president. He really help me become the eighth president and I pushed the Democratic Party in which Andrew Jackson became the first democrat that became president. He was the champion of the common man and everyone loved him and supported him. He did have a few bad ideas but he was a good man and a great president. He was a great friend and a good supporter when I ran for president. I will miss him as a friend and a man that supported him.
